We’re excited about the possibility of welcoming your child to our center! Enrollment is a straightforward process designed to ensure a smooth transition for your family.
Schedule a Tour Start by scheduling a personal tour with our Executive Director. This is your opportunity to visit the center, meet our staff, see our classrooms, and learn about our program, philosophy, and daily routines. Join the Waitlist (if applicable) If your desired age group/classroom is currently full, we invite you to join our waitlist. A non-refundable waitlist fee of $50 is required to secure your place on the list. We will notify you as soon as a spot becomes available.
Accept Your Spot and Set an Enrollment Date Once a spot opens in your preferred class, we will contact you to offer the placement. You’ll confirm your acceptance and select an official enrollment/start date.
Create Your Brightwheel Account Set up an account on Brightwheel (our secure parent communication and payment platform). This is where you'll handle payments, view daily updates, and complete forms.
Sign Required Agreements Review and sign the Enrollment Contract and Tuition Agreement through Brightwheel. These outline our policies, expectations, and commitment to your child's care.
Pay Fees to Reserve Your Spot (Both payments are processed securely through Brightwheel.)
Non-refundable Deposit: Equivalent to one week's tuition (currently $365 for infants/toddlers or $300 for Aftercare/Preschool–Kindergarten). This deposit is applied toward your child's first week's tuition.
Registration Fee: A one-time $100 non-refundable registration fee.
Complete All Required Paperwork Submit all necessary enrollment and medical forms, including:
Child health/physical exam records
Immunization records (per Virginia requirements)
Emergency contact and authorization forms
Any additional documentation (e.g., allergy/action plans, custody agreements if applicable) These must be completed and submitted to the office manager: officemanager@gracecovenantcdc.com.
Final Step! – Schedule a Meet & Greet. The Assistant Director will reach out via email and arrange a welcome meet-and-greet session. This is a great time for your child to visit the classroom, meet their teachers, and get familiar with the environment in a low-pressure setting.
Once all steps are complete, your child will be officially enrolled and ready to join our Grace Covenant CDC family!

All fees (waitlist, deposit, registration) are non-refundable.
Tuition rates and fees are subject to change; current rates are reflected in Brightwheel.
We comply with all Virginia Department of Education/Child Care licensing standards for health, safety, and documentation.
